Welke hydraterende crème heb ik nodig?
Welke hydraterende crème jij nodig hebt, hangt af van je huidtype. Wij onderscheiden vijf verschillende huidtypen. Deze hebben we hieronder met bijbehorend crèmeadvies uiteen gezet, zodat jij heel eenvoudig de voor jou beste hydraterende crème kunt aanschaffen.
Wat gewoonweg de beste hydraterende crème is, valt dus helaas niet te zeggen. Een merk kan met bepaalde bestanddelen wel een bepaalde kwaliteit waarborgen, maar het belangrijkste is dat de crème bij jouw huid past. Wat voor jou de beste hydraterende crème is, hoeft dit voor een ander dus absoluut niet te zijn.
Normale huid
Kenmerken: kleine poriën, egale teint, geen glimmende T-zone of schrale wangen.
Doel: de vet- en vochtbalans optimaal houden.
Crème: een hydraterende crème die de huid gericht voedt en verzorgt en vooral goed beschermt.

Vette huid
Kenmerken: grove poriën, vettige glans, vaak last van puistjes en mee-eters.
Doel: het teveel aan talg aanpakken en tegelijkertijd de huid hydrateren, want dit huidtype is, in tegenstelling tot wat je zou verwachten, dikwijls vochtarm. Ook hier is de huid hydrateren dus heel belangrijk!
Crème: kies specifiek een ‘hydraterende crème vette huid’.

Droge huid
Kenmerken: fijne structuur, voelt snel trekkerig en schraal aan, kan schilferen, ziet er eerder oud uit dan een vette huid.
Doel: het herstel van de huidbarrière ondersteunen (vervangen verloren huidvetten) en daarmee het herstel van de huid zelf (corrigeren vochtverlies).
Crème: een hydraterende crème speciaal voor de (zeer) droge huid, die herstelt en bijvoorbeeld de ruwe huid aanpakt of de ouder uitziende huid revitaliseert.

Kenmerken: droge wangen, glimmend vette T-zone.
Doel: het vochtverlies corrigeren en tegelijkertijd het teveel aan talg op de T-zoneplekken aanpakken.

Gevoelige huid
Kenmerken: reageert heftiger op irriterende invloeden en doet dit o.a. met jeuk, rode vlekjes, een branderig gevoel en/of schilfers, gaat vaak gepaard met een droge huid (hoeft niet).
Doel: goede hydratatie huid (herstel van de huidbarrière ondersteunen), waarbij de samenstelling van het product van hydratatie huid-allergieën/irritaties tot een minimum beperkt.
Crème: een speciale ‘hydraterende crème gevoelige huid’ (hypoallergeen, meestal geen parfum, kleurstoffen e.d.).
